Terms of Service for Sudoku Saga : Multi Grid

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Sudoku Saga! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sudoku Saga mobile application (the “App”), developed and operated by HemAze (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. License to Use

2.1 Grant of License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Download and install the App on your personal mobile device
  • Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes

2.2 Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices
  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
  • Use automated systems or bots to interact with the App
  • Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App to third parties
  • Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our servers

3. User Accounts and Data

3.1 No Account Required

Sudoku Saga does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the App.

3.2 Local Data Storage

All game progress, statistics, and settings are stored locally on your device. We are not responsible for:

  • Loss of data due to device failure, uninstallation, or factory reset
  • Data corruption or loss
  • Inability to transfer data between devices

3.3 Your Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your device
  • Backing up your device if you wish to preserve game data
  • Any activity that occurs on your device

4. In-App Purchases

4.1 Virtual Items

The App offers in-app purchases of virtual items, including but not limited to:

  • Hint packs (consumable items)
  • Other virtual goods as may be added

4.2 Payment Terms

  • All purchases are processed through Google Play Billing or Apple App Store
  • Prices are displayed in your local currency and include applicable taxes
  • Payment will be charged to your Google Play or Apple account
  • All sales are final unless otherwise required by law

4.3 Consumable Items

Hints and other consumable items:

  • Are consumed upon use and cannot be refunded once used
  • Have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Cannot be transferred between users or devices
  • May be lost if you uninstall the App or reset your device

4.4 Refund Policy

Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Google Play or Apple App Store according to their respective policies:

  • Google Play: Refunds may be requested within the timeframe specified by Google Play's refund policy
  • Apple App Store: Refunds may be requested through Apple's refund process

We do not have direct control over refunds processed by these platforms.

4.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify prices for in-app purchases at any time. Price changes will not affect purchases already made.

5. Advertising (If Enabled)

5.1 Rewarded Ads

The App may offer optional rewarded video advertisements that provide in-game benefits (such as free hints) upon completion.

5.2 Ad Content

  • We do not control the content of third-party advertisements
  • Ads are provided by Google AdMob and other advertising partners
  • We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or opinions expressed in advertisements

5.3 Optional Viewing

Watching advertisements is entirely optional. You are never required to watch ads to play the game.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Our Ownership

The App and all its contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to):

  • Software code and architecture
  • Game design and mechanics
  • Graphics, logos, and visual elements
  • Text, puzzles, and content
  • Trademarks and branding

are owned by HemAze and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Sudoku Puzzles

The Sudoku puzzles in the App are generated algorithmically. While individual puzzle solutions are not copyrightable, the collection, arrangement, and presentation of puzzles are our intellectual property.

6.3 Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate such feedback without compensation or attribution.

7. User Conduct

7.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations.

7.2 Prohibited Conduct

You must NOT:

  • Use cheats, exploits, automation software, bots, hacks, or mods
  • Attempt to manipulate game statistics or leaderboards (if implemented)
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Engage in any fraudulent activity related to in-app purchases
  • Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7.3 Consequences

Violation of these Terms may result in:

  • Termination of your license to use the App
  • Removal of game progress and data
  • Legal action if necessary

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

8.1 “AS IS” Basis

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness

8.2 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The App is free of viruses or harmful components
  • Results obtained from the App will be accurate or reliable

8.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
  • Service interruption or device damage
  • Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR IN-APP PURCHASES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

8.4 Jurisdictional Limitations

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Third-Party Services

9.1 Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for:

  • The content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party sites
  • Any damages or losses caused by third-party services

9.2 Third-Party Terms

Your use of third-party services (Google Play, RevenueCat, AdMob) is subject to their respective terms and conditions:

10. Updates and Modifications

10.1 App Updates

We may release updates, patches, or new versions of the App. Updates may:

  • Add, modify, or remove features
  • Fix bugs and improve performance
  • Change game mechanics or balance

You may need to update the App to continue using it.

10.2 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective:

  • Immediately upon posting in the App
  • For material changes, we will provide notice through the App

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Termination

11.1 Termination by You

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

11.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause
  • Discontinue the App entirely
  • Remove features or functionality

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your license to use the App immediately ends
  • You must uninstall the App from your device
  • Provisions that should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and intellectual property rights) will continue to apply

12. Geographic Restrictions

The App is intended for use worldwide. However:

  • We make no representation that the App is appropriate or available in all locations
  • Accessing the App from territories where its content is illegal is prohibited
  • You are responsible for compliance with local laws

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.2 Arbitration

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except:

  • Small claims court actions
  • Intellectual property disputes
  • Injunctive relief

13.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class actions or class-wide arbitration.

14. Miscellaneous

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

14.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

14.5 Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
